For years I had the standard group of magnets on my refrigerator. Not really a collection. But on a family trip to Hawaii several years ago my sons were looking for an "ugly" magnet to bring home to a friend. All my suggestion were rejected as "too cute" so I bought them for myself. I took them to work to decorate my office file cabinets. My collection expands along with my frequent flyer miles. Friends and colleagues began to drop by my office to check out my file cabinets for my latest trip. They brought me magnets when they traveled and "OH NO" I have another collection. My four drawer file cabinet overflowed to the sides and the end of my desk. I began to collect decorative, nursing, angels, chocolate related and any others that caught my fancy. I am now acquiring magnets that make sounds; a phone, boom box, computer, coke can. On my next update I will add pictures and (when my sister gets her Java Script under control) sound to these. When I retired from nursing I had to bring all my magnets home where they now cover the front and sides of my refrigerator. Pictures of my refrigerator will be added soon.
