Beth's Nursing Collectibles - Page 1I worked for more than 32 years in the same labor and delivery department in a large teaching hospital. I started there when I was a nursing student and I retired as a unit manager (or Head Nurse as it was once called). I decorated my office at the hospital with nursing-related collectibles and when I retired I moved them to my home computer room/office. I continue to collect and treasure nursing related memorabilia. On this page and another I show a few of my nursing collectibles. I have 18+ shelves to display my nurses and some doctors. On a second page I am showing just a few shelves of my nursing collection to give you an idea of what I have accumulated. The nursing collectibles displayed on these pages are from my personal collection, but some duplicates from my collection are listed in my online booth, Do you remember this? at GoAntiques cyber mall. Follow this link to see an overview of my inventory on GoAntiques or to purchase items. Thanks for looking. |

| The nurse doll with glasses is a portrait of me made by a friend. | This is a composition I made of World War I era sheet music "The Rose of No Man's Land" about a red cross nurse, an old Dolly Dingle paper doll of a red cross nurse, several red cross pins, and the words to the song. | ||||||||

I think this is really bizarre. It is a Mexican Day of the Dead delivery room with skeleton nurse, doctor, mother, and baby. |
This is a foursome of angels/nurses. |

My sister found the die-cut sheet of stickers of nurses shown above in an antique shop. I do not know its age or origin but I love the old fashioned look of the little nurses and teddy bears. The card of nursing stamps on the right was a gift from one of the other nurses in my department. |
