| When Jack started weight training for exercise he did what he does with every new interest, he began to read background and history of the field and we discovered the fascinating world of 19th and early 20th century strongmen (and even some strongwomen) in books, photographs, and equipment. True to our nature we began to collect this material. We now have a collection of photographs, postcards, books, and old exercise equipment. Our favorite subject is Eugen (sometimes Anglicized as Eugene) Sandow, the 19th century prototype strongman and body builder. | ||
