Photographic Valentines

We love valentines that show a photographer at work. There is an astonishing range of subjects from the early 20th century chromolithographs with view cameras to more modern hand cameras. These charming images seem to speak for themselves so we decided to present a selection of them without comment. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

My newest valentine, shown below, is going to be one of my favorites! This die-cut cupid holding the lens cap of a view camera on a tripod is my 2008 Valentine gift from my husband. It is such a beauty!
